Yes — PlusBoda offers three vehicle classes: boda boda, tuk-tuk and car. Each option in the choose-a-ride sheet shows its own upfront fare and a measured pickup time from real drivers nearby. Cars must pass an extra bar: a driver profile photo and a verified photo of the actual car.
Pick the vehicle for the job
A boda is the fastest thing in Ugandan traffic; a tuk-tuk carries what a boda can't — a family, the market shopping, cargo; a car adds comfort and weather cover. PlusBoda shows all three side by side with their own fares and honest ETAs computed from the nearest live driver of that kind. If no tuk-tuk is nearby yet, the app says "none nearby yet" rather than inventing a wait time.
Whatever you choose, you see the vehicle before it arrives — drivers who add their real vehicle photo show it on the accept card, and every vehicle photo on the platform is AI-verified to be the real thing.
Quick questions
Which is cheapest — boda, tuk-tuk or car?
Each option shows its own upfront fare for your specific trip in the app; bodas are typically the most economical for a single passenger.
Are tuk-tuk and car drivers verified too?
Yes — same identity verification and AI-checked vehicle photos; cars additionally require a driver profile photo and a photo of the car itself.
