Parents on PlusBoda see the school bus their child actually rides — with a live 'driver on the road' indicator the moment the run starts, live GPS during the trip, and a record of the child being marked on and off the bus. Each family sees only their own child's bus, never the whole fleet.
What a parent sees
Once your child's school runs its transport on PlusBoda and your enrollment is confirmed, the child's van appears in your app: its photo, its driver, its seats. The moment the assigned driver starts the run, a live "driver on the road now" dot lights up — published from the driver's phone every few seconds. During the run, staff mark each pupil boarded, off the bus, or dropped at home, so the app reflects what has actually happened to your child, not a guess.
Privacy is structural: you see the one bus your child is currently on. Only school administrators see the whole fleet.
How a school gets started
A school creates its account at plusboda.com/school, builds its pupil roster (photo, class, guardian, home location on a map), adds its vans with seat counts, and hands staff one-time role codes for the driver app. Parents enroll their own children and the school confirms each enrollment before the child reaches any bus. Home-address changes are approved by the school and fully audited.
Quick questions
Can I track my child's school bus live?
Yes — the bus your child rides shows a live driver-on-the-road signal and GPS during the run, plus on-bus/off-bus records per child.
Can other parents see my child's information?
No. Each family sees only the bus their own child is currently on. Rosters and fleet views are restricted to school staff and admins.
What does a school need to join?
A free school account at plusboda.com/school, a pupil roster, its vans, and staff redeeming their role codes in the app.
