Parents on PlusBoda link their child to the school, then follow the van the child rides: live on the map, with how far it is and about how long to wait, and alerts when the child is picked up and dropped off. Address changes go through the school, and other guardians can be added by invite.
From linking to everyday alerts
Add your child in the app with the Plus ID and PIN from their school card, or through the school's listing if they don't have a card yet; the school confirms a new enrolment before the child reaches any bus. Then the child's van appears in your app, with its photo, driver and plate, and goes live when the driver starts the run.
During the run, staff mark your child on the bus and dropped off, and you get an alert at each step. If you move house, you ask for the change in the app and it applies once the school approves it.
More than one guardian, and your own boda
Families aren't one person. You can invite another guardian with a one-time link, so a grandparent or an older sibling gets their own view of the child's van. You can also attach a boda you trust by their @username and send them to take your child to school or bring them home, following them live.
