Can I pay a boda with mobile money on PlusBoda?

Pay your rider in cash. On PlusBoda the fare is on screen before you book, so at the end you hand over exactly that amount — nothing to negotiate. You can also use PlusBoda Points to take up to half off a ride; the app tells the rider how much cash to collect. Paying for rides in the app isn't open yet.

Cash, with the price agreed up front

When you choose your ride you see its fare in shillings. That's the fare you pay, in cash, to your rider when you arrive. The rider keeps 100% of it.

Food and shopping work the same way: the order is cash on delivery, with the total and the delivery fee shown before you place it.

Points off your fare

Every ride, meal and order earns PlusBoda Points. Turn on Use points when you choose a ride and they can cover up to half the fare. Your rider sees the split — how much the points paid and how much cash to collect — and PlusBoda pays the rider the points part, so they still get the whole fare.
